Heikki Pasanen (b. 1946, Reisjärvi) is a visual artist, performance artist, and environmental artist working in Espoo, Finland.
“From the very beginning, my goal as an artist has been to find challenging, multifaceted, and spiritually awakening artistic pursuits. Rather than following mainstream art, I have sought to create art by exploring my inner self and my relationship with the world—sometimes to the delight, sometimes to the discomfort of my surroundings.
I am interested in the many different directions of art, such as installation, performance, spatial works, and environmental art. I am a member of Espoo Visual Artists and MUU ry, and I have held exhibitions and performed performance works both in Finland and internationally.”
